I was honoured to capture this tech conference on a very special day this year. Celebrating International Women's Day documenting women in tech hosted by well-known up and coming Swedish AI startup Lovable that organised tech conference with a real time hackathon during the conference. Their event Shebuilds was a main event out of around 120 of the events happening around the world on the day with substantial coverage by CNN.


The representatives of the company were looking for an event photographer in Stockholm who wouldn't just approach the event with the traditional " taking corporate boring event shots" but would deliver accurate representation of the unique energy and the environment of the conference; capturing women having fun with coding, interacting in groups, captured in captivating portraits full of colors and bold reactions.

Keynote Speakers & Interactions

The first part of the event focused on guests arriving, forming connections, enjoying themselves and listening to an inspiring speech of the Lovable representatives and their collaborators.

One of the focuses of the event coverage was to deliver images that would represent the vibe of the Lovable's headquarters and the event itself. Colourful neons colors everywhere, fun temporary tattoos and little cupcakes passed around as well as creative black and white shots with neutral space that is great for future online campaigns I followed the brief I received from the Lovable representatives and had real fun with it!

The Hackathon

Documenting natural interactions, coding, passionate discussions and subsequent presentation of the projects on the stage, focusing on capturing the wide range of ages of the women and girls taking part.
