Documenting Multiple Workshops throughout 2 Days & Dinner Event at TED

I was approached by ISA Global Alliance for Ethical Student loans back in June to document their 2 day event at Stockholm University as their partners from all around the world would come to Stockholm to take part in their annual workshops.

The project included documentation of authentic moments of what was unfolding, genuine interactions of the partners as they took part in the discussions and all the in.between moments throughout the day.

In this project I was hired to shoot both photos and a 1 min highlight video for the client's LinkedIn profile.

Dinner at TED, Stockholm

After first day of the workshops, the group has met for a relaxing dinner event at stylish restaurant in Östermalm, Stockholm. The tables were distributed throughout the whole restaurant mixed with other guests so I really paid attention to how I am moving around the space so as to not bother other guests or prevent waiters from doing their job. I was pleased to hear from the restaurant afterwards that they barely noticed I was there.

I really wanted to tell a story of the relaxed atmosphere that was present the whole night so I focused on not only genuine interactions and laughter of the participants but on the space as well. The energy of the food being served around the tables and the decor of the restaurant were a crucial part of that story! I was even able to sneak in a few shots of drink preparations and food masterfully being arranged by the chefs in the open kitchen.
