WEEKEND full of inspirational short movies
Capturing emotions in the dark...
When I was first approached by the organisers of the festival, I must admit, I was a bit unsure how the whole thing will pan out. I was excited when I got to hear it's the documentation of emotions and interactions of guests they're after but I was not at all sure about what the light conditions would be.
As it turned out, I absolutely loved capturing every second of this event. And what surprised me really was how much fun it was to hunt for all those secret emotions of shock, surprise, laughter and tears in the dark as well as all the enticing conversations that happened outside of the screening hall. The whole weekend was closed by announcing the winner of the festival, a Swedish director, who not only joined the event but stayed long after to discuss his inspiring short movie with the attendees.
The festival was organised in collaboration with Tony's Chocoloney and was held at one of the independent movie theaters in Stockholm, Zita. the vintage ambiance of the venue & the chocolate happiness just added to the whole mood of the event.
