Getting Lost in Streets of Gamla Stan with Sandra Lones & Lululemon

In June I was approached by Sandra, a multiple client and by now a dear friend of mine, to shoot a campaign for Lululemon as she recently became the brand's ambassador in Sweden.
The task was to capture her around the city with some iconic Stockholm landmarks in the background in a storytelling way. Shooting in the streets of Stockholm is actually one of my specialties so I was excited so much to do this shoot!
I put together a simple route around Gamla Stan & Riddarholmen to create that wonderful Stockholm vibe and had Sandra walk around with her loyal pup Miles as I documented them just having fun before moving on to the yoga practice part of the shoot.
Because we were to showcase the diverse use of Lululemon clothes, in this case a regular everyday life, I had Sandra & Miles wander Gamla Stan together and focused on mix of storytelling photos "in action" as well as a few calmer, sitting-down ones.
I picked Gamla Stan as our first location for its specific vibe and multiple colors that just went perfectly with the brand's equal love for colourful clothing. Early morning was a perfect time as the streets were still empty and all the beautiful shadows casted by sun on the colourful buildings added an element of interest to the photos and helped tell the story of a girl walking her dog around the city wearing her favourite brand!

Riddarholmen & Yoga Practice
Because Sandra is an amazing yoga teacher we wanted to showcase her use of Lululemon's workout/yoga attire with some iconic views of Stockholm!
Riddarholmen was the best choice not only because of its famous view over to Södermalm but also due to rather new improvement on the island - a tiny streak of beach and wooden dock that was absolutely perfect for Sandra to land in a few of the yoga poses!
We utilised the beach for some last lifestyle shots with her & Miles playing together first and then it was all about yoga practice for the rest of the shoot.
