I first met Fabiola & Georg during a family photoshoot they booked with me a few months back. They're a young energetic couple with an equally energetic young daughter Rosie. They're an expat family from Germany temporarily living in Stockholm, working for an international company.
I was approached by Fabiola in the beginning of this year again once they realised they would need some personal branding photos for their future career plans.
Because the use of the photos was exclusively focused on professional social platforms like LinkedIn we kept the session super simple and to the point. In order to achieve a certain degree of variety in the photos I chose two different locations, indoor & outdoor, while keeping the vibe modern & fresh.

Fabiola & Georg chose to share the session as neither of them required in-depth specific focus and we were easily able to adjust the elements of the shoot to both of them equally. They were also able to better relax and supported one another while each of them stood in front of the camera.
As usual, I like to talk to all of my clients while shooting, a hack that always helps you unwind and achieve that relaxed body language. Because they shared "the load" the conversations during the photoshoot were easily flowing and we were truly able to capture their true selves.
Once we moved the session outside I was also able to incorporate a lot of movement into the photos, which added an extra interest into their photos.

You can stand out even with "basic" personal branding photos. Headshots don't have to be boring. Let's move around, talk and focus on showcasing your personality even in the simplest of portraits!
Indoor Part: Coffee Shop
For the indoor part I chose a coffee shop with a fresh interior design to match the vibe we were going for. In order to avoid crowds and have enough space and time to capture what we needed we agreed on early morning hours. Thanks to that timing we managed to have the large part of the coffee shop to ourselves.
Location scouting, recommending places that go with your desired vibe and making sure it is okay to shoot at the given place is something that I always take seriously and do throughouly in order to deliver you photos that truly match what you envision and need.
Because Buddy Personal Branding sessions are usually shorter I chose outdoor location in a close vicinity to the coffee shop. Vasastan in Stockholm has a lot of great streets and bridges that offer a perfect backdrop to what we needed.

For the Working Parents...
I loved that little Rosie joined her parents in the session and actually naturally wandered into some of the shots. All of my branding sessions are kid-friendly! You don't have to stress about childcare when scheduling your session. Bring them along! You never know what kind of magic they'll be able to help you create.
