When Your Soul Shines through...
I got an assignment to capture Yohanna's and Sandra's portraits during a retreat I covered for them at Hasselbacken at Djurgården last year. We didn't have that much time to make it super elaborate as it was in between the classes but I knew I didn't need much as Yohanna & Sandra are such enlightening souls that any overly prepared scene or props would just steal the focus away from their natural magic they radiate. I found a simple corner with contrast colors, shadow play on the wall and used natural light that was coming in through the beautiful huge windows of the Hasselbacken Hall. The rest of the magic happened between the two of them as we were talking and laughing while I tried to capture as many natural moments as possible.
