The Vibe Matters

Shortly before Christmas I was approached by Hanna Holmsäter, a kind soul and a well-known yoga teacher at Stockholm yoga scene, to document one of her Church Yoga Events for marketing purposes.

The yoga class organised weekly in Church at Odenplan in the middle of Stockholm was a true gem to photograph. This huge grandiose space, where people collectively came to meet in diverse poses and slow down, wasn't the only differentiating factor of this event.

It was the coziness within the huge space that called out to me. Such a contrast, two seemingly incompatible features that somehow worked like a charm together.

I focused therefore on capturing the vibe, embracing the warm ambience of the lightning in the church that helped closing down the space into a cozy bubble but still keeping that grand openness that was special about the venue.
